研究開始時の研究の概要

Aberrant immune cells mistakenly attacking one’s own tissues causes autoimmune diseases. This research focuses on characterization of such immune cells using a novel marker for self-reactive T helper cells. This technique will allow detailed analysis of their pathogenic role in autoimmune disease.
