| 研究開始時の研究の概要 |
Viral spillover events are increasing in recent decades, caused by anthropogenic damage. Indonesia has the second most biodiversity globally, yet its ecological stability is threatened by intensifying human activities. The One Health approach is imperative to investigate and mitigate the risk of viral spillovers. Here, I aim to use the approach to study the breach of human-nature interface in the context of viral infections in Indonesia. This study may uncover zoo-/anthroponotic diseases and translate into real-world policy to mitigate environmental desecration and risk of future epidemics.
