This research positions itself at the intersection of sustainable development and wine tourism in both Japan and Canada, focusing on Japan. Through an exploration of the perceptions and actions in Japan, alongside case study of the strategies, challenges, and benefits of implementing sustainable practices in Canadian wine tourism, this study seeks to bridge the existing gap in both academic understanding and practical initiatives. It aims to foster a comprehensive perspective on the sustainable transformation of the wine tourism sector in Japan.
