研究開始時の研究の概要 |
Mass loss of massive stars shortly before their explosions determines the circumstellar properties that have critical impacts on core-collapse supernova properties. However, this pre-supernova mass loss is not yet clarified. With this research, we explore two hypothesis of the mass loss: (1) circumstellar matter created by binary interaction and (2) mass-dependent eruptive mass-loss. In order to reveal the mass-loss activities, we statistically compare theoretical light curves and spectra of different progenitor systems with observations.
