研究成果の概要

モンゴルおよび東南アジアの貫入岩の酸化状態とともに、斑岩銅鉱床に伴われる白金族元素などレアメタルの資源ポテンシャルについて検討した。タイのルーイ帯花崗岩類（堆積物の混染により還元される前の初生的なマグマ）、インドネシアのスマトラ島北部の白亜紀以降の花崗岩類（三畳紀以前の花崗岩類は異なる）、スラウェシ島のNorth Armの花崗岩類（West Armの岩体は異なる）、フィリピンのネグロス島の閃緑岩類、ミンダナオ島東部の閃緑岩類は酸化的な磁鉄鉱系列の貫入岩であり、白金族元素を伴うフィリピン西ルソン弧の斑岩銅鉱床を伴う貫入岩と同じような岩石化学的特徴をもつことが明らかになった。
