研究成果の概要

多発性骨髄腫は，難治性腫瘍の一つであり，未だ治癒を期待できる治療法は確立されていない．申請者らは，これまでBCL9という分子が多発性骨髄腫の細胞増殖，転移・浸潤，腫瘍血管新生に重要であることを見出している．本研究では，多発性骨髄腫に対する新規治療標的分子を同定する目的でBCL9分子に結合し，多発性骨髄腫の病態にかかわっている分子をクロマチン免疫沈降シークエンス法も用いて探索した．その結果，CYBRD1という鉄代謝関連分子が治療標的分子になりうる可能性を見出した．
