This project explores hyperuniform amorphous materials, a novel class of disordered materials that exhibit highly uniform atomic structures at large length scales. By combining advanced scattering experiments and atomistic simulations, the study aims to identify and characterize potential candidates of such compounds. These materials are expected to exhibit unique mechanical, optical, and electronic properties. The research will establish a new framework for classifying amorphous materials and may lead to the discovery of innovative materials with tailored functionalities.
