| 研究開始時の研究の概要 |
Bone remodeling during orthodontic tooth movement is governed by molecular mechanisms. We will study how RNA binding proteins (RBPs) control bone remodeling in response to mechanical stress in order to identify top RBP targets that can serve as anabolic agents for bone in diseases such as osteoporosis. And to identify RBPs that can targeted to halt bone resorption that accompanies osteolytic (done destruction) diseases.
