研究開始時の研究の概要 |
Localized hyperthermia via heat-generating nanoparticles is a promising approach to cancer therapy. However, its clinical potential is limited as there is a serious lack of standard temperature monitoring techniques with adequate resolution to probe nanoscale temperature changes. To address this challenge, we developed a nanothermometer endoscope based on luminescent lanthanide-doped nanoparticles decorated silver nanowires. The proposed method will allow for better clinical characterization, facilitating clinical translation and commercialization of nanoparticle-based thermal therapies.
