本研究では、従来のデスクトップ型CALL教室の後継として期待できる、iPadなどのTablet端末を利用したCALL教室を構築し、アクティブ・ラーニングを軸とした授業モデルを実施した。構築では、無線システムを構築し、最大70台のタブレット端末が接続されている環境の下で、Learning Management System (LMS)接続、マルチメディア教材の配布、サーバに蓄積している映像視聴等の実証実験を行った。その上で、実際にプレゼンテーション授業として音声認識機能、ビデオ撮影、振り返り活動などの授業を実施した。また、オンライン環境の下で収集したログデータに基づいた分析も行うことができた。
