研究成果の概要

Toll様受容体4（TLR4）およびTLR2は，グラム陰性細菌から放出される内毒素であるリポポリサッカライド（LPS）の受容体である。分娩後の乳牛において，グラム陰性菌である大腸菌の感染により子宮炎や乳房炎などを発症した乳牛では繁殖性が低下することが知られている。本研究では，TLR4の一塩基多型（SNP）と免疫細胞機能および繁殖性との関連を調べ，TLR4の多型が免疫細胞の遊走性，アポトーシスおよびサイトカイン産生能に影響していること，また繁殖性を左右する卵巣機能に影響していることが示された。さらに，TLR2の多型が卵胞構成細胞機能と関係することが示された。
