研究概要

金属ナノギャップ中に生じる局在電磁場と分子波動の空間的インタープレイをフルに取り入れたグループ独自の理論手法で、ナノギャップにより単一分子レベルで禁制遷移やサイト選択励起が可能になること、分子ー金属結合系の固有状態制御により金属エネルギー透過やエネルギー凝集など特異な微視的エネルギーフローが生じることなどを明らかにした。またナノギャップでの輻射力により単分子運動制御が可能であることを明らかにした。
