研究概要

本研究は、マウスのGSC(配偶子幹細胞)である精子形成幹細胞と、それを制御するニッチ細胞、及びニッチの場の実体を解明することを目的として研究を行っている。独自に開発したライブイメージングやパルス標識法を駆使して、精巣内での生きた幹細胞のふるまいを解明し、ほ乳類精巣で精子形成が継続して進行することを保証するメカニズムに挑戦している。
