研究概要

葉におけるエアロゾルをナノレベルで可視化するイメージング技術を確立し、葉の表面構造や気孔の大きさやその形態などが異なる樹木におけるエアロゾルの吸収・吸着状態の樹種間差異を明らかにした。ブラックカーボン粒子の葉への吸着状態の違いは、葉の表面状態の違いを反映していた。長期曝露した硫酸アンモニウム粒子の形状や大きさは、微粒子の周りの環境が変化したことで変化した。また、ブラックカーボン粒子と硫酸アンモニウム粒子の沈着場所は異なり、両者の葉の生理学的機能に与える影響が異なることが示唆された。
