研究概要

（１）ホヤ精子の新規カルシウム結合タンパク質「カラクシン」は鞭毛外腕ダイニンにカルシウム依存的に結合しモーター活性を抑制することにより精子鞭毛の非対称波を伝播させ、最終的に卵への精子走化性を引き起こしていることが明らかとなった。（２）巻貝であるマガキガイにおいて２種の後進運動を発見した。精子束からの遊離と雌の受精嚢壁からの遊離に後進運動が用いられ、これらの運動にはカルシウムが必要なことがわかった。（３）アロ認証研究に必要なプロテオミクス解析、高速運動解析、遺伝子改変技術について開発を行い、ホヤ精子-卵のアロ認証、ウズラ精子の貯蔵、褐藻類遊走子の運動調節等に関する領域内共同研究を進めた。
