研究概要

本研究の目的は、微細粒子及びその集合体からの結晶生成の過程を広い視野から、かつ双方の大学が得意とする見地から、学際的に研究することである。
平成2年度における両大学間の研究交流の経過は次の通りである。
1.7月18〜8月1日:末野がSB校を訪問。地球深部鉱物中の水素の存在について討論し、それについて双方で合成実験をすることになった。
2.7月19〜23日:B.Chu教授が本学を訪問。研究代表者らと交流研究の進め方について懇談の後、各研究室を視察。2回にわたり最近のレ-ザ-光散乱を応用した研究を紹介(講演会)。
3.9月23〜29日:研究代表者(若槻)がSB校を訪問。高圧合成についてLiebermann教授らと討論ならびに実験、また本学で開発した新しい光学用超高圧セルの紹介と討論を行った。
4.12月:福谷がSB校を訪問:Kirtz教授と軟X線領域の多層膜反射について共同研究を行った。
5.1月19日〜26日:Weidner及びLiebermann両教授が本学を訪問。高圧下における結晶成長について若槻、末野らと討論。また栗田との高圧合成実験についての打ち合せ、及び予備実験を行った。
6.3月11〜29日:栗田がSB校を訪問。地球深部物質の合成と高圧合成物質における水素の存在形態に関する実験を行った。
以上の相互交流による研究成果は両大学における将来の研究の進展を大いに促すものである。また次年度は従来よりも一層若手研究者間の交流に注力することが双方によって了解された。
