研究概要	本補助金は昭和61-63年度にわたって行われた特定研究「中間子科学」の成果とりまとめのために用いられた。このために同特定研究総括班のメンバ-が研究を分担した。特定研究によって実施された研究は次のように広域にまたがっている。低速DC負ミュオンビ-ムの開発とミュオン実験、偏極原子状水素の生成とその中間子実験への応用、超強磁場下のミュオン物理、磁性体中のスピンの時空相関のμSRによる研究、極低温におけるμSR法の研究正ミュオンと物質表面との相互作用の研究、ミュオン化学に於ける放射線化学・ホットアトム化学過程、ミュオニウムと中間原子の化学反応ミュオンによる医学診断の研究、μSRによる磁性の研究、中間子-薄膜相互作用、ミュオンの関与する原子過程の理論的研究、ランダム磁性体、荷電ソリトン、関連する物性ならびに原子分子の理論、大立体角スペクトロメ-タ-によるハイパ-核の研究、原子核内中間子・ハイペロン相互作用、各種中間子発生機構の研究、ストレンジネス(S)=-2のハイパ-核及びストレンジダイバリオンの研究、K中間子とハイペロン偏極をプロ-ブとした原子核反応の研究、π中間子による原子核の内部構造の研究、中間子生成を伴う核反応精密分光、クォ-ク多体系理論の研究、パイ中間子と軽い核の相互作用、核のミュオン吸収過程と核整列現象これらの研究の成果を論文にまとめあげること、それを集大成して国際的に通用する報告書の形にすることを目標に各分担者に於て作業が行われた。この結果、二分冊になる報告書が完成する運びとなっている。このために、適宣、研究打ち合せ会などを行った。
