研究概要	(1)ヒトデ未成熟卵ではサイクリンとリン酸化型cdc2蛋白質との複合体が不活性型MPFとして既に存在し、この複合体中のcdc2蛋白質の脱リン酸化によりもたらされるヒストンH1キナ-ゼ活性が活性MPFの実体である。cdc2蛋白質は未成熟卵の細胞質・核の双方に存在するが、サイクリンは細胞質にのみ局在しGVBDの直前に卵核胞内に移行する(岸本)。(2)カエル卵細胞質抽出物に精子核を加えるという無細胞系で核蛋白質の動態を調べ、a)精子核特異的塩基性蛋白質は卵細胞質中の熱耐性酸性蛋白質(おそらくヌクレオプラズミン)によって非酵素的に除去されること、b)前核および卵割期の核には後期胚や成体の核には無い特殊なH1ヒストンが存在すること、が見出された(片桐)。(3)抗チュ-ブリン単クロン抗体を用いてウニ卵分裂装置の蛍光抗体法による観察を行い、紡錐体と星状体では微小管を構成するチュ-ブリンのアイソフォ-ムが異なること、また微小管の密度が動物極側で大きいことが分裂装置の偏在をもたらす要因になることが示唆された(浜口)。(4)ウニ卵で収縮環の形成にミオシンのリン酸化が伴うことを見出し、また収縮環の形成と消滅に関与していると考えられるアクチン調節蛋白質プロフィリンのアミノ酸配列を決定した(馬淵)。(5)イモリおよびカエル卵の分裂溝形成の誘導および分裂溝の進行がコルヒチン、ヴィンブラスチンのいずれによっても阻害され、微小管が収縮溝の形成に直接的に関与することが示唆された(沢井)。(6)ウニの雄性核卵片の第一回目の核分裂が正常卵よりも遅くなるのは、雄性前核のS期が雌性前核のそれに較べて長い、という事情に基ずくことが証明された(米田)。
