研究概要	有機電導体に関し小倉、大坪、安蘇らはドナ-として置換縮合芳香環のカルコゲン架橋体及びTPDT誘導体を合成した。また電子受容体として鎖状共役混合ヘテロTCNQ、及び縮合チオフェン環を含むTCNQ類似体を合成した。これらの新規電子供与体、受容体のCT錯体を調製し構造と物性の相関を詳細に研究した。その結果、室温伝導度450Scm^<-1>で150Kまで金属的伝導を示す架橋アントラセンのラジカル塩等多くの高電導性錯体を得て、ヘテロ原子の役割を解明した。ポリアニリンについて木谷らは従来ほとんど研究例のない電極触媒への応用につき検討した。ポリマ-自身がレドックス活性な電位領域では、基質が有機、無機いずれでも触媒作用を示すが、不活性領域では、有機基質と選択的に電子移動を行う事を発見した。この結果は、高選択的センサ-への応用を示唆する。近年生分解性ポリヒドロキシブチレ-トが注目されているが、安田らは類似構造を有するポリエステルをラクトン類の開環重合によリ合成し、酵素分解等種々の試験の結果、生物起源体より生分解性が高く、且つ優れた特性のある高分子を得た。藤原らは前年度のYb金属によるαーアミノ酸の合成反応を応用し、DIOP等のキラル配位子の共存下光学活性体の合成に成功した。また、SmI_2によるイソシアナ-トの二量化にも成功した。山中らはリン酸ジルコニウム結晶の層間表面にエ-テル基を含む有機鎖をグラフトし、新しい無機・有機誘導体を合成した。この層間には種々のLi塩が固溶し、Li^+導電体となる事を示した。塩谷らは、シラシクロアルカンをモデルとして、実験、理論の両面から研究し、有機ケイ素化合物の構造と反応性の理解を飛躍的に深めた。大下らはジエチニルシラン類をRh(I)錯体触媒を用いジシラニレンまたはシリレン単位とエンイン単位を主鎖中に交互に規則正しく含むポリマ-に高収率で変換した。またモデル反応を通じてπ電子系ケイ素ポリマ-の光反応挙動を解明した。
