線型および非線型の双曲型方程式系の研究

研究概要	ひとつの中心的な課題は準線型の対称双曲系の初期値境界値問題について、境界が特性的な場合に対して解の局所存在定理を一般的な形で得ることであった。この問題に対して完全な解決は得られなかったが、研究成果は相当あり、特に基礎となる線型の場合についてはほぼ理論は完成の域に達したと思われる。よってあと1年程の研究期間があれば、当面の目標は達成できるであろう。先ず我々が設定したある種の重みつきのソボレフ空間に対してトレ-スの定理とその逆定理を証明した。この定理によれば初期条件を次数mの重みつきソボレフ空間からとった時整合条件はmー2次までしか課すことができないように見える。しかしながら実は別の事情が作用しているのであって実際はmー1次まで整合条件を考えることが出来るし又そうしなければ滑らかな解を得ることが出来ない。このような状況が解明されたことはひとつの大きな成果である。また近似解を構成して一様評価を得た。これは解を求める上で重要なステップになるがいわゆるエネルギ-法を用いて行った。更に準線型の場合を研究する為にこの一様評価を精密化することが必要になるがこれも次数nが一般の場合も込めて解決した。又近似解を用いて真の解を構成する為の函数解析的議論についてもいくつかの改良を行った。以上を要するに線型の場合はほぼ最終目標に達し準線型の場合について研究の途上にあると言うことができる。その他に確率微分方程式を含めて数理物理学上の問題についても若干の結果を得た。代数的構造、幾何的構造についても同様であるが、くわしいことが割愛する。
