研究概要

各研究分担者は「自由境界の最適制御問題」を総合的に研究するために(1)プラズマやPorous mediaに現われる自由境界問題(2)ファジィモデルの安定性の問題(3)2相ステファン問題に関して研究を進め、論文や日本数学会における講演などで成果を発表している。
1.プラズマの形状を望む形にするために、プラズマの形成される容器の形状をどように設計すれば良いかという最適形状設計問題のアルゴリズムを提案し、それにもとづいて数値解を得た。
また、地下水の流れに現われる自由境界の振舞いが流れの深さによって異なるという結論を理論的解析と数値的解析とによって得た。
2.ファジィモデルの安定性を調べるために、これを非線形システムと考えて、それに含まれるあるパラメ-タに関するBifurcationを論じた。また、無限次元システムのファジィモデルについても調べた。
3.1次元2相ステファン問題の解の一意性が非線型項が多価の場合にも成り立つことを示した。
また、ステファン問題に対する領域や境界での「形状最適化問題」を提案し、その解の存在について論じた。
