三及び四核子系の理論的研究

研究概要

1.三体力、ク-ロン力、陽子のひろがりの効果、荷電独立の破れ、荷電対称の破れの効果をすべて取入れたフアデエフ方程式を精密に解いた。それを用いて
^3Heのク-ロンレネルギ-は648keVであること、荷重対称の破れの効果は74keV、これに相対理論的効果等を加えると、^3Hと^3Heの質量差の計算値は772±15keVとなり実験値764kEvに極めて近い値が得られた。
2.トリトンのβ崩壊;上述の波動関数を用いてトリトンβ崩壊に対するがモフ・テラ-の行列要素を計算した。その結果、この行列要素の値は二体力及び三体力に無関係に√<3>(0.962±0.002)となることが示された。この値は実験値と一致する。
3.中性子-重陽子散乱での放射捕獲反応を計算した。特に偏極重陽子による反応での分解能Ayyの理論計算はこの反応於ける三体力の必要性を明らかに示していることがわかった。
4.中性子-重陽子弾性散乱に対する断面積及び分解能Ayを計算した。散乱角の大きい所でAyの実験値と理論値が一致しないことは、別の方法による計算からも知られていたが、われわれの計算でも同じ結果が得られた。
5.三体系散乱問題がは、何故ファデエフ方程式を用いなければならないかという疑問に対し従来は波束理論などで解答が与えられたとされていたが、これを別の立場から論じ従来の理論の不備を正した。
まとめ;1.は少数核子系物理学の“land mark"を与えるものとして注目されている。又2.もβ崩壊を正確に計算したものとして良く引用されるだろうと評価されている。3.では、はじめて三体力の必要性が明らかに示された。5.は三体力を入れて再計算しなければならないことを示している。
