非晶合金の構造とダイナミックス

研究概要	非晶二元合金系の構造とダイナミックスについて以下の考察を行った。 1.原子サイズ比、濃度、原子間ポテンシャルと物性特性:液体の2体分布関数の統計理論の近似の改良を試み、MHNCSを導出した。これを用いて非晶二元合金の濃度揺らぎの安定性(相分離)についての考察を行った。主な結論として、相分離傾向を強める主な要因は次の三つに要約出来ることを明らかにした。(1)原子間ポテンシャルの斥力部分が柔らかいこと、(2)原子サイズ比が大きいこと、(3)低温度であること。この他、濃度依存性についての考察も行った。 2.原子拡散の機構:二成分ソフトコアモデルの分子動力学シュミレ-ションによって、過冷液体、ガラス転移の動的諸性質について考察を行った。主な結果は、(1)ガラス転移近傍で、平均二乗変位、非干渉性散乱関数、ノンガウシアンパラメ-タ等に異常性(擬似動的臨界現象)が現れる。これらの異常性はガラス転移温度より高温で起こる(見掛けのガラス転移)。(2)ガラス転移点近傍では、原子拡散は主に近接原子の協力的なジャンプ運動によって生じる。 3.ガラス転移の動的機構:原子の運動に関する確率方程式(トラッピング拡散モデル)を提唱した。主な結論は、(1)ガラス転移(拡散係数がゼロに転移する)点が存在する。(2)転移点で動的異常性が生じる。(3)以上の結果は時間無限大の極限の特性として得られるものであるが、有限の観測時間に対しては、これらの動的異常性はガラス転移温度より高い温度で既に出現する(見掛けのガラス転移)。これらの結果はMDの結果(2.参照)と極めて良い一致を示す。
