研究概要	本研究は主に(A)シクロデキストリン(CDx)にイオン性基または有機多座配位基(エチレンジアミン、ポリアミンなど)を導入することによる機能化をまず検討し、液体クロマトグラフィ-への応用を試みた。 (1)機能化CDxモノマ-の合成。CDxの疎水場の拡大や一級および二級水酸基をイオン性基や有機多座配位基で置換した修飾CDxを合成した。精製は分取用液体クロマトグラフ装置により行った。官能基変換による新しい機能の発現を蛍光法などでまず検討した。イオン性基導入による静電相互作用の発現により分子認識の機構がかなり変わることが判明した。長軸が長いゲスト分子の取り込みにおいては静電相互作用はCDx空洞内における分子位置ぎめに関与していることも判った。 (2)設備費で購入したデ-タ-処理装置を分析用液体クロマトグラフィ-システムに組みこんだ。大量のデタ-蓄積、デ-タ-解析が従来より簡単にできるようになり、今後のクロマトグラフィ-研究の発展が期待される。 (3)合成した機能化CDxモノマ-を移動相として用い、各種ゲスト分子の保持挙動を検討したが、溶液中の包接化挙動と平行関係が見いだされた。固定相とてCDxポリマ-を用いる研究は、保持時間や分離効率の観点から種々問題が生じ、今後の研究課題となった。
