研究概要	受精の主要な素過程を支える基本的な分子機構につき研究し、次の諸点を明らかにした。1.浸透圧変化が運動開始の引金となっている両生類や海産魚類の精子で、Ca^<++>が2次伝達物質であることが示唆された(森沢)。2.ブタ射精精子を高濃度で前培養することにより受精能獲得誘起に成功し、前培養液中に、精子由来の熱に安定な受精能獲得促進因子(分子量25K以下)を見出した(豊田)。ハムスターテストより求めたヒト精子の受精能獲得時間は精子細胞膜のコレステロール/リン脂質比と正の相関しており、大きな個人差があった(佐藤)。3.ヒトデ卵ゼリー中の先体反応誘起物質である酸性糖タンパク質の構造を解析し、フコースを内側にも新しい糖鎖構造の存在が示唆された(星)。ブタ透明帯糖タンパクのアスパラギン結合型糖鎖の構造解析を行ない、25種に及ぶ中性糖鎖の全構造を決定するとともに、D-GlcNAcを露出した糖鎖が、精子のガラクトース転移酵素によって認識されていることを見出し、これが精子ー透明帯結合で重要な役割を持つことが示唆された(高崎)。カエルを用い、卵黄膜物質は卵母細胞内で合成されることを明らかにした(片桐)。4.精子先体反応に関与すると考えられるII型のCキナーゼをマウス精子に見出し、細胞質中の215KDa酸性タンパクおよび35KDaの塩基性タンパクをリン酸化するらしいことを示した(鈴木)。5.ヒト精子表面のフィブロネクチンは、equatorial regionに局在し、卵と精子細胞膜の結合・融合に関与していることが示唆された(佐藤)。6.精子前核形成の第一段階で、プロタミンが離脱する仕組に、卵母細胞〜胞胚の細胞質にのみ存在し、プロテインキナーゼKに感受性、熱安定性で、プロタミンに強い親和性を持つ約300KDaの因子を見出した(片桐)。7.ウニ卵より新しいガングリオシドを見出しその構造を決定するとともに、細胞内膜系に存在することを示した(星)。
