研究概要

研究目的:<本研究では,サイクロトロン高調波における負吸収現象(サイクロトロン高調波メ-ザ-作用)を用いて,比較的高い効率で高出力の発振を得ることによってジャイロトロンの超高周波化を図る。その出力を用いて,1)準光学的回路素子(プラズマへの結合のためのアンテナ,伝送回路素子等)の試作を行い,2)プラズマの高周波加熱時の密度揺動による散乱の計測へ応用することを試みる。>___ー
研究成果:1.<サイクロトロン高調波動作によるジャイロトロンの高周波化,>___ー平成元年度に製作したジャイロトロンの発振テストを福井大学・8テスラ超伝導マグネットを用いて行い,サイクロトロン2次高調波における単独動作に成功し,最高周誕数402GHz(波長0.75mm),出力1kWの発振に成功した。また,ジャイロトロンの超高周波化に不可欠の3次高調波での単独動作にも成功し,最高周波数354GHzを達成した。本年度購入した高電圧CW電源を用いて,ジャイロトロンの連続動作を可能し,プラズマ散乱計測の光源として利用するための準備を完了した。2.<準光学的アンテナの開発>___ー,開発したミリ波及びサブミリ波ジャイロトロンを光源して,放物面と楕円面をもつ準光学的アンテナの開発研究を行った。アンテナのテストを行い,ジャイロトロンの円形導波管モ-ドを直線偏光モ-ドに変換すると同時に,2次元的集光を得ることが可能なことを検証した。3.<ジャイロトロンを光源とするプラズマ散乱計測装置の製作とCHSへの設置>___ー,開発したサブミリ波ジャイロトロンを光源と準光学的アンテナを結合素子とする散乱計測装置を試作し,核融合科学研究所の主装置CHS(Compact Helical System)に設置して,低周波密度揺動の測定を行う準備を整えた。平成3年度には,本研究の最終目標であるジャイロトロンのプラズマ散乱計測への応用を遂行する予定である。
