研究概要

高温超伝導酸化物では、酸素圧・温度によって酸素量が変わり、酸素量によって導電性超伝導特性が変化する。Bi系(2201),(2212),(2223)相,D_yBa_2Cu_3O_<7ーδ>について、酸素圧・温度と酸素量の関係が明らかにされた。またこれら酸化物中のCuやBiの価数と酸素量とは密接な関係があるので、CuとBiの価数を分離して定め、酸素量との関係を明らかにした。導電率も酸素圧・温度の関係として測定し、酸素量と密接な関係のあることを明らかにした。熱化学的デ-タ-も重要で、高温X線回折法による相関係の解明がなされ熱容量測定によって、La_<2ーx>Ba_xCuO_y,La_<2ーx>Sr_xCuO_yにおける転移現象及び比熱異常,Nd_<1.85>Ce_<0.15>Cu_<1.00>O_<4.00>の比熱とエントロピ値の測定が行われた。薄膜関係では、レ-ザ-アブレ-ション法によってユニットセルあるいは原子層の成長させ2次元性の検証、歪超格子の形成、CuO_2平面数のコントロ-ルが行われた。また、レ-ザ-MBE法、CVD法による超構造の構築、ハロゲンド-ピングによる超薄膜生成もなされた。厚膜関係では金属有機化合物の塗布熱分解法、泳動電着法による製膜が引き続き行われて、この分野でも研究の進展がみられた。新物質研究ではSrーVーO系を取り上げて、各種酸化物とその電気的性質を明らかにしている。また、高温超伝導体の線材化に関する研究では、酸化物と銀の極微細粒子のコンポジットをつくり、その界面の構造を調べている。更に、微細組織を制御し、これが磁束ピニングにいかなる効果を及ぼすかが研究された。高温超伝導体を磁気シ-ルドとして用いる場合にいかにその特性を評価するかも研究された。
