研究概要

1.研究代表者を中心として得られた知見 (1)水の波線形非定常問題の有限要素離散化問題の収束性と誤差評価の方法の抽象的展開 支配作用素が一階の擬微分作用素であることから生ずる興味ある知見を得、時間方向の離散化をニュ-マ-クの方法とする抽象的取扱いを実行した。(2)固有値問題の大域的考察 水の波固有値問題を一定水深水域でフリ-ドリックス・ケラ-分割区分一次連続要素による有限要素法で離散化した問題の解を解析的に表示して、大域的な固有値の近似に関する新しい知見を得た(電気通信大学大学院松木美保子との共同研究。 (3)移流拡散差分スキ-ム 空間一次元等間隔五点差分公式・時間方向前進差分の場合に二乗可積分ノルムでの安定条件を特徴づけた。計算可能な周波数のうち相対的に高周波のものの安定性を論ずるときの基準として導入したεー安定性の概念の有効性を確かめた(電気通信大学大学院名古屋靖一郎との共同研究)。(4)外部領域問題の有限要素近似 台が有界な非斉次項を持つポァッソン方程式を、非斉次項の境界を仮想境界として、そこで非局所境界条件を与えた問題に変換して有限要素計算する方法を正当化した。
2.分担者が著しい成果を収めた研究課題 (1)高速フ-リエ変換を応用した特異積分変換の数値計算法(鳥居達生)。 (2)非線形偏微分方程式の解の存在の数値的検証(中尾充宏)。 (3)植物性プランクトンと栄養塩の数理モデル(細野雄三)。 (4)半無限区間緩減衰振動型間数向き二重指数型数値積分公式(森正武)。 (5)界面反応機構の数理モデル(四ッ谷晶二)。
3.応用数学合同研究発表会の開催 応用数学分野の他の四つの総合研究(研究代表者、有川節夫九州大学、篠原能材徳島大学、西田孝明京都大学、佐藤雅彦東北大学、各教授)と合同して京都大学に於いて実施した。
