研究概要	(1)新しい免疫抑制剤であるFK506の膵外分泌に及ぼす影響は、CCK刺激下においてCyclosporinAの作用と比較検討を行い、両者の間における膵に対する作用の違いを明らかにし得たが、これは、膵移植後の移植膵機能と免疫抑制剤との関係を考慮する上で重要な情報を提供するものと考えられる。(2)膵切除後の残存膵再生機序と、増殖因子であるEpidermal Growth Factor(EGF)との関連について、ラットにおいて、Brdu Laboling indexを用いて検討した結果、膵切除後の残存膵において、正常膵にはみられないEGFレセプタ-の発現を認め、膵再生機序に対するEGFの強い関与の可能性を示唆し得た。さらに、EGFには肝血流を増加させる作用を有することを明らかにし得たが、これは、EGFの肝再生に対して果たす役割を検討する上で興味ある知見である。(3)Gastric Inhibitory Polypeptide(GIP)の腹部血行動態に及ぼす影響について、Glucagonとの比較において検討を行なったところ、GIPはGlucagonとほぼ同程度に腸管血流を増加させる作用のあること、さらに、肝血流に対しては両者の間に作用の相違のあることを観察し得たが、これは今後、ダンピング症候群の病態に関する検討を施行する上で、1つの示唆を与える知見と考えられる。(4)メッシュで補強したポリビニルアルコ-ルを用いた半透膜のチュ-ブの中に、ラットの膵より分離したラ氏島を封入して作製した人工膵(ハイブリッド型)を、糖尿病ラットの腹腔内へ移植したところ、免疫抑制剤を用いることなく3ケ月におよぶ血糖値の低下を観察し得た。このハイブリッド型人工膵は、今後の検討を重ねることにより、糖尿病に対する恒久的治療になり得る可能性がある。(5)成熟ブタの膵臓から、1gあたり約5,000個のviableなラ氏島の分離に成功した。これを用いて人工膵の作製に成功すれば、将来的に、ドナ-不足の解消にも寄与し得るものと期待される。
