研究概要

本研究の実績内容は以下の4項目に大別される。
1.カナダ側の研究分担者が来日した後、鉱山現場を訪問し、日本の資源産業の現状、資源工学上の問題点の分析、ならびに今後の技術開発のあり方について現場技術者を含めて検討する討論会を開催した。見学・討論会場の対象とされた鉱業所および製錬所は以下の3社である。・花岡鉱業株式会社 深沢鉱業所・小坂製錬株式会社 小坂製錬所・秋田製錬株式会社 飯島製錬所
2.秋田大学においては、Queen's大学の研究分担者を講師とする特別講演会を開催し、本研究計画に携っている研究者以外の学生、教職員、研究者間の意見交換を行なった。その講演題目は以下の通りである。・Generic Technology Changes in Canadian Mining・Application of Spray-on Liners for Rapid Underground Support
3.金属鉱業技術センターを訪問し、センター研究員ならびに国際資源大学校研修生を含めた技術開発に関する討論会を開催した。なお、同センターの所在する小坂町とセンター共催の国際シンポジウムに参加し、民間技術者に対する研究交流を配慮した。
4.専門分野別に構成された4グループ体制で研究資料の交換が行なわれ、問題点の分析が進められている。カナダ側研究者の滞在中には、小グループ別に各自分担研究テーマに関する共同研究を行ない、研究打ち合せを繰り返した。
以上のとおり、本研究では種々の角度から資源工学における最先端技術の開発が十分に検討され、今後の日・加両国の資源産業の発展ならびに研究体制の強化に大いに寄与する成果が得られたものと考えられる。
