研究概要

本年度では、プロダクトサイクル(科学技術の発展サイクル)と産業の地域的分業の進展に関する理論的・基礎的研究を実施した。具体的には、1)プロダクトサイクルと地域の発展に関する動学理論の開発、2)技術のビンテ-ジと地域における生産性の変化に関する研究、3)研究革新が地域の雇用機会に及ぼす影響に関する研究、4)技術の国際的・地域際的な伝播過程に関する研究等のサブテ-マについて研究を実施した。平成3年度には以上のサブテ-マに関する研究を進展させ平成3年6月にカ-ルスタット大学において第2回の日端ワ-クショップを開催した。月端ワ-クショプにおいては日本側から小林:岡田、多々納(研究分担者)が出席し研究発表を行うとともに、今後の共同研究の進め方について討議した。ワ-クショップの成果はカ-ルスタット大学側がプロシ-ディングスとして刊行準備中である。以上の共同研究の成果として以下の事項があげられる。すなわち、1)国際的なレベルで進展するプロダクトサイクルに関する理論的・実証的な知見を提示した。2)技術革新下における地方都市圏の比較優位性に関する考え方を明確にした。3)知識生産、R&Dからみた地域の比較優位性の診断のための方法論の開発とその実証的検討を行った。4)技術革新を軸とした地域開発戦略に関する理論的・実証的な分析を実施した。以上の研究成果により知識生産を志向した地方都市圏の開発戦略、活性化戦略に関する有用な知見を提示し得たと考える。平成4年度は以上の研究成果に基づいて我が国とスウェ-デンの代表的な地方都市圏を対象として研究開発・産業講造の実情とプロダクトサイクルの産業の地域除分業の進展に及ぼす影響に関する比較研究を実施する予定である。
