新規に発見した二重結合系の光異性化とそれによる光量子作用効果の増幅

研究概要

本研究は、申請者らの発見した二重結合系の光片道異性化を展開し、二重結合系の光異性化の諸様式並びに対応するポテンシャルエネルギー曲面が分子の構造により如何に支配されるか、また、光量子の増幅効果の発現の要因を明らかにし、光異性化の全貌を総合的に把握することを目的とするもので、以下の成果を得た。
1)ブテニルアントラセン及び2位を重水素化したビニルアントラセンはいずれも励起三重項状態において断熱的なシス→トランス片道異性化は起こし、その三重項状態における異性化の活性化障壁は2-、1-、9-位の順に低下する。
2)ジエンにおいても三重項エネルギーの低いアントラセン環を置換すると量子連鎖的なシス→トランス光片道異性化を起こす。
3)ピレン環を置換基としたC=N二重結合系は三重頃増感により両方向異性化を起こすが、シス→トランス異性化を量子連鎖的に進行する。
4)インドール環とピリジン環を双方の炭素上に置換したオレフィンは直接光照射によりトランス→シス片道異性化を起こすが、三重項増感により両異性体間で相互に異性化し、分子内水素結合並びにスピン多重度が異性化の様式を支配する。
5)ビリルビンの光異性化に対するヒト血清アルブミンの効果及び各種の動物の血清アルブミンの効果を明かにした。
6)2-ビニルアントラセンとそのβ-アルキル置換体は励起一重項状態の寿命の間に特異的な方向に単結合の回りの回転異性化を起こし、その要因を検討した。
7)スチルベンのカチオンラジカルのシス→トランス片道異性化は塩の添加により促進される。また塩のないときには、シスラジカルカチオンのシス体への付加と脱離による二分子機構により異性化が進行する。
8)三重項異性化並びにカチオンラジカルのシス→トランス異性化のポテンシャルエネルギー曲面の理論計算を行ない、実験結果と定性的に一致する結果を得た。
