溶液の非平衡過程の分子論的アプロ-チ・拡散過程のダイナミックス

研究概要	[1]高圧NMR 大型NMR装置を使って、5〜60℃の範囲、1〜3000気圧の範囲で、水(重水)分子の回転相関時間の測定に成功した。水の回転運動が、他の液体の場合と違って、どの測定温度でも加圧により加速される。また、プロピルアルコ-ルのメチル、メチレン、水酸基プロトンのケミカルシフトとプロトン間のカップリングに対する圧力効果を測定し、装置の高分解能性を確かめた。2次元NMR測定にも挑戦したが、感度がまだ不十分であった。重水中の硝酸イオンの ^<14>Nのスピンー格子緩和時間の測定から、硝酸イオンの回転運動に対する圧力効果が非常に小さいことが分かった。高圧2次元NMRの研究は継続。(中原) [2]有機溶媒中の微量水の構造とダイナミックス NMRによる溶液研究の濃度限界はこれまで0.1Mとされてきたが、我々はこれを約数ミリモルにまで拡大することに成功した。"水と油の関係"にある、水ー四塩化炭素、水ーベンゼン、水ークロロホルム中での"孤立"水分子が100〜200フェムト秒で高速回転しており、この運動が慣性項と(無視されてきた)分子間引力に支配されていることを見つけた。さらに、低温条件下では水分子のクラスタ-も生成することが分かった。(中原) [3]拡散過程と科学反応導入した高圧ダイアモンドアンビルセルとピコ秒レ-ザ-システムを使って、種々のアントラセン誘導体の溶液中での蛍光消光過程に対する温度・圧力効果を研究し、溶媒の粘度、溶質の拡散係数を用いて、スモルコフスキ-理論の有効性と問題点、ならびに粘度の指数則の成立条件を明らかにした。(平山・中原) [4]水のゆらぎのダイナミックス水分子の構造とエネルギ-のゆらぎのミクロなメカニズムを計算機によって研究し、ゆらぎの周波数依存性を明らかにした。購入したワ-クステ-ションの計算能力をフルに発揮して、溶媒和電子、プロトンジャンプの計算が進行中。(大峰)
