研究概要

1)光認識機能: 光機能物質を有効に機能させるために欠くことのできない高次組織の設計と合成に関していくつかの重要な知見を得ることができた(国武)。光励起レドックス系の構築、ポルフィリン残基を有するオリゴヌクレオチドの合成とその性質、分子素子としての導電性高分子の合成に関して成果を得た(清水)。高分子電解質中における光励起ルテニウム錯体の電子移動について検討した(松田)。
2)低分子化学物認識機能: ヌクレオシドおよびヌクレオチドを有するポリビニルアルコ-ルあるいはポリ‐α‐アミノ酸を合成し、その物質認識能を評価した(竹本)。リビングアニオン重合の手法を駆使して構造の明確な高分子を合成し、その構造を物性について調べた(中浜)。リビングカチオン重合の手法を駆使して星型高分子を合成し、その構造と溶媒との相互作用について検討した。
3)光学異性体認識機能: ジペプチドの有機アルミニウム錯体あるいはペプチド金属錯体がエナンチオ選択的なシアンヒドリン合成に有効であることを見出した(井上)。セルロ-スおよびアミロ-スの置換1‐フェニルエチルカルバメ-ト誘導体を種々合成し、そのHPLC用固定相としての不斉識別能を系統的に評価した(岡本)。セルラ-ゼを重合触媒に用いて、セルロ-スの化学合成に初めて成功した(小林)。D‐マニト-ルの共重合反応を経由して、2,5‐アンヒドロ‐D‐グルシト-ル残基を有する高分子イオノファ-を合成し、その不斉識別能を評価した(横田和)
4)高分子物質認識機能: 種々の単糖を出発物質に用いて環状モノマ-を合成し、その開環重合により種々のタイプの多糖類を合成した(瓜生)。1,3‐無水糖骨格を有するモノマ-の開環重合させ(1→3)‐β‐D‐グルコピラナンを合成した(岡田)。イソタクチックポリメクリル酸メチルの錯体形成能について調べた(畑田)。1‐ナフチルアラニン残基を有するオリゴペプチドの立体配座と芳香族化合物との相互作用について検討した(横田健)
