研究概要	平成5年度は本総合研究(A)の最終年度であり、褐色脂肪組織(BAT)の細胞組織学的特性、中枢性および末梢性生理的調節機構、病態について平成3、4年度に引き続き検討が行われ、今後の班員の研究を推進する上で有益な多くの成果が挙げられた。短日照明環境はBATの増殖を越こし、これが上頚神経節切除による阻止されることから松果体こメラトニンの関与が示唆された(松嶋)。ノルアドレナリンはBATへのカルシウム取り込みをα-アドレナリン受容体を介して促進することが示された(入來)。寒冷暴露は血漿タンパク質に新しい分画を発現させ、寒冷ショックタンパク質がBATにも存在する可能性が示された(小坂)。BATにノルアドレナリン神経線維以外にニューロペプチドY,P物質線維の存在が確認された(金村)。BATミトコンドリア内膜のCl,Kチャンネルの存在が示唆された(堀清記)。コラーゲン・ゲル三次元培養により褐色脂肪細胞のin vitroでの分化・増殖に成功した(杉原)。脳にBATにおける脂肪合成を刺激する新しい因子を精製単離した(嶋津)。脳でサイトカインIL-1、TNFが視床下部腹内側核-ロンに働き、BAT熱産生を促進的に制抑していることが明らかにされた(堀哲郎)。寒冷下での非ふるえ熱産生の促進は短日照明環境下で促進されることからBAT熱産生が寒冷以外の影響を受けることが示唆された(永坂)。BAT血流量のノルアドレナリンによる増大作用の伝達分子が血管内皮由来弛緩因子の一酸化窒素であることが明らかにされた(黒島)。BAT機能低下をともなう遺伝的肥満ラットで迷走神経の緊張による胃粘膜抵抗の増大をみとめた(高杉)。ヒト白色脂肪細胞はラットの褐色及び白色脂肪組織での脂肪分解因子・β_3-アドレナリン受容体作動因子に反応しないという種特異性が示された(吉田)。老化促進モデルラットで短命系は摂食量、エネルギーは長命系にくらべ大きかったが、BATの重量には差が認められなかった(柳平)。
