研究概要

1.平成5年10月14日、長崎大学医学部のポンペ会館において班員15名及び多数の共同研究者が出席して「食物の摂取機構の総合的研究」の班会議を開催した。以下に述べられるような重要で発展的な研究成果が発表され、熱心な検討がなされた。当日は長崎大学歯学部の教官及び大学院生が多数出席して、実りのある会であった。
2.ラット味蕾の発生には、メルケル細胞による味神経の誘導、味神経による上皮細胞から味蕾細胞への誘導が関係する。ラット大錘体神経は糖とアミノ酸に高感受性を示す。出生直後は舌の味蕾は機能を示さないが、軟口蓋の味蕾は機能を有するので、授乳期には軟口蓋の味覚は重要な役割を果たす。ラットのサッカリン情報の連合学習は扁桃体でなされる。
3.食物を口腔へ摂取するときに関与する口唇、口蓋、舌、顔面の血管には副交感神経性血管拡張反射が存在する。ネコの第一次体性感覚野ニューロンの多数は、食物摂取時、顎、舌、口唇の動きを調節している。このことは大脳感覚野の破壊で一層明らかになった。
4.無麻酔ウサギが、硬い食品を上下歯列で粉砕する顎運動閉口相の後半には、その速度を低下し、咬筋筋電図には一過性の抑制が、顎二腹筋筋電図には一過性の活動が出現した。これは歯根膜による反射である。
5.ヒトの歯根膜咬筋反射では、大きなmotor unitほど速い顎運動の反射性調節に関与する。
