研究概要	α-1,3- フコース転移酵素cDNAの導入と強制発現により、L細胞のインテグリン依存性の接着が促進された。ヒト骨髄球系細胞に於て、ガングリオシドの合成を制御する酵素としてGM3を合成するシアル酸転移酵素とLc3Cerを合成するN-アセチルグルコサミン転移酵素を同定した。ヒト結腸癌組織においてシアリルLe^aの抗原を持つ糖鎖の構造を明かにした。ルウィス血液型陰性の個体に於て、FuT-III遺伝子の変異をヌクレオチドレベルで解明した。胃体部と胃前庭部に於て、消化管ムチンの硫酸化糖鎖の構造パターンが異なっていた。Gsl-5糖鎖を形成するβ-1、6-N-アセチルグルコサミン転移酵素を精製し、アミノ酸部分配列を明かにした。肝細胞膜の表層糖鎖末端β-ガラクトシドが肝細胞接着に関与し、この機構にC-型レクチンは関与しないと示唆された。成人型異染性脳白質変性症の原因となるアリルスルファターゼAの新しい構造異常を見出した。ウシ精巣性ヒアルロニダーゼの糖転移反応を利用して、新しいハイブリッド型プロチオグリカンを作成した。ニワトリCa^<2+>依存性α-マンノシダーゼの特異性を解明した。マクロファージレクチンのチロシン残基(Tyr5)がインターナリゼイションに必須なことを明かにした。また、C-型レクチンの1つであるコンアグルチニンのcDNAおよびゲノムシークエンスを明かにした。Sophora japonica樹皮中のレクチンが損傷の修復に関与する可能性を指摘した。アルコール依存症患者血清に糖鎖欠損トランスフェリンを見出した。コンドロイチン硫酸のペプチドとの結合部位を合成した。ヒトマクロファージのレクチンcDNAを単離し、構造決定した。
