負イオンクラスタ-の衝突脱離電子分光法の開発と固体表面相互作用解明への応用

研究概要	1.炭素負イオンクラスタ-と固体との衝突による電子脱離実験(衝突エネルギ-約640eV)。タ-ゲットは二流化モリブデン単結晶を使用した。 (1)阻止電場型電子エネルギ-分析器を用いて2次電子エネルギ-分布を求めた。さらにスペクトルの入射エネルギ-依存性を検討し、低い入射エネルギ-において負イオンクラスタ-の自体の性質が放出電子により強く反映することを明らかにした。 (2)ファラデ-カップによる電流測定から2次電子放出効率を求めた。 2.2次電子放出効率の衝突エネルギ-依存性測定。負イオンクラスタ-のエネルギ-数+eV領域で2次電子放出効率が鋭いピ-クを持つことがわかった。炭素クラスタ-には直線構造のもの、環状構造のもの、球殻状のフラ-レン類と3種のものが知られているが、電子放出効率の低エネルギ-ピ-クは環状の炭素クラスタ-で著しく大きく、直線構造のクラスタ-ではほとんど観測されない。一方フラ-レンでは比較的小さいピ-クが出現するが、その位置は高エネルギ-側に大きくシフトしている。 3.超高真空下(10^<10ー11>Torr台)で清浄表面をタ-ゲットとして用いた実験を行うための真空槽を作成しクラスタ-ビ-ム発生、サイズ分離を行った。 4.2次電子測定に加えて基板電流と散乱イオンを定量的に測定すれば負イオンの衝突における荷電の行方を完全に把握することが出来る。散乱イオンは斜入射リフレクトロン型減速系を利用した実験で検出することができた。また基板電流の測定をイオンの入射エルルギ-を走査した行った。
