研究概要

本研究者らが所属する東京大学生産技術研究においては2機種の汎用大型計算機が共同利用され、本研究グループにおいては本研究助成などによる複数のEWSシステムが稼働し、これらは東京大学基幹ネットワークにより結合されている。本研究では、これらのコンピュータ環境において共同利用可能な、乱流場解析に関するソフトウェアー・ライブラリを構築することを目的とした。今年度は、レイノルズ平均モデルによる定常/非定常解析およびラージ・ディー・シミュレーション(LES)や直接シミュレーション(DNS)に関するプログラムの開発・改良を、昨年度に引き続き、機械工学、建築環境工学、プラズマ工学および乱流理論の各研究分野において進めた。特に、LESの剥離流れへの適用、旋回や剥離を含む複雑乱流における代数型レイノルズ応力モデルおよび非等方型2方程式の検証に関しては、本研究の成果である数値シミュレーション・ライブラリを活用して研究の効率的な進展を図ることができた。また、大規模解析に関する研究としては、分散型システムにおける計算手法の検討、LES結果のデータベース化とその画像表示、およびLESデータを用いた乱流モデルの検証を行った。上記の研究成果の公表に関しては、各個研究の講演、論文発表の他、解析プログラム・ライブラリに新たに磁気熱流動解析コードを含む数件の解析プログラムを選定し、本研究グループ企画の講習会および研究報告書において研究成果を総括して公開しており、流れ解析シミュレーションに関する外部研究者を含む研究協力の促進に寄与したと考えている。
