研究概要

CERN・GAMS4000によって1992年に得られた中心衝突過程による中間子生成のデータの運動学的解析を完了し,それらをDSTの形に纒めた。これに伴い,1991年採取のデータも1992年データの解析様式に統一した.π°π°,7π°,77過程を中心に部分波解析が進行中である。DST作成の過程で,1992年データと1991年データの全体を検討し,77終状態現象が少くとも3000イベントある事が確認された.この分析に基づき,GAMS4000によるCERN・NA12/2実験のデータ採取を完了し,今後はデータ解析に専念する事に決めた.他方,GAMSスペクトロメーターとOMEGAスペクトロメーターを合体し,新たに,荷電・中性粒子粒子検出器に増強を行った.CERN・研究計画委の合意を得て,合体増強計画は略完了した。本年4月中旬-6月上旬の期間に、GAMS【symmetry】OMEGAスペクトロメータによる第1回のデータ採取に入る予定である。この研究計画によるデータ採取は1995・1996両年に亘って行ないたいと考えている。
IHEP(プロトビノ)に於けるGAMS4π増強は完了し,1993年12月-1994年2月の間にデータ採取の予定であったが,ロシア国の電力事情の悪化等で、一年間の延期のやむなきに至った.本年12月-1995年1月の間にデータ採取が予定されている。この間,IHEPより中堅研究者を招へいし,エレクトロニクスを含む検出器系の開発研究に成果を得た.又データ解析に長期滞在者を得て,IHEPに於ける1991及び1992年データの解析に大巾の進展を見,平成6年度にむけ確実な見通しを得ている。
他方,この間,重結晶体・P_6WO_4を用いた高性能電磁シャワーカロリーメータの開発研究がIHEP,CERN及びKEKに於て精力的に行われた。次世代を担う検出器系として,各研究グループの注目を集めている。
