研究概要

本研究班は「ゆらぎ」という観点から、液体あるいは溶液中の分子やイオンの動的挙動を明かにし、化学反応を溶媒分子の関与する種々の非平衡過程との関係で捉え、明らかにするのが目的である。
高感度ラマン分光器にファブリーペロー干渉計(バーレー社、RC-43)をタンデム方式に配置した高分解能ラマン散乱装置によりベンゼンの全対称伸縮振動のラマンの線幅の測定が0.01cm^<-1>の高い精度で可能となった。
野村は、溶液中の化学反応の速度理論に於けるKramersの遷移状態理論の検証を行なうために、ヘキサンやフタル酸ジイソブチルを溶媒としてジブロモプロパン溶液の100MHzから8GHzにおける超音波緩和スペクトルの解析より回転異性化反応の反応速度と粘度との関係を実験的に明らかにした。特に低粘度領域でKramersの理論からのずれを見いだし液体の局所構造との関連を指摘した。さらに混合ミセル溶液中のミセルとモノマーの交換反応のミセル組成依存性を明らかにした。また混合溶液の振動緩和過程をラマン散乱法と超音波緩和法を用い混合溶液中の振動緩和過程は、基本的には気体の衝突過程を考慮したSSH理論で説明できることも明らかにした。
森田は、慣性項を考慮した拡散律速反応を理論的に明らかにした。さらに一般化ランジェヴァン方程式においてブラウン粒子の位置の相関関数が時間発展に従い減衰しないことや位置と速度の相関関数の定常状態における問題点を指摘した。
冨永は、イオン性ポルフィリンの蛍光消光反応速度の過渡効果を解析し、有効反応距離と拡散係数を求めミクロな領域での拡散過程とバルクでの拡散過程のイオン強度依存性を明らかにした。イオン性ミセルのトレーサー拡散係数を測定し、CMCにおけるストークス半径を求めた。
