研究概要

最終年度に際し、一属成果を上げるため、班員相互の討議と情報交換を活発に行ないながら研究を推進した。その間、新らたに班員間での共同研究は14件に増加し、優れた成果を収めた。本年度は、大阪において第5回総括班会議、班会議、全体会議および第4回公開シンポジウムを6月15〜16日を開催した。また、各班員に重点領域研究の意義と推進方法を徹底させるとともに、各班の研究計画の説明を行なった。さらに、8月2日〜5日の4日間に亘り、宮城県蔵王において合同班会議を開いた。各自研究の進捗状況とその最終年度の研究計画を詳細に説明し、活発な討論を行ない情報交換の実を充分に挙げることができた。また、8月4日には第6回総括班会議を行ない、最終年に向けての領域全体の活動方針並びに成果とりまとめのやり方等について議論した。第5回公開シンポジウムは東京において12月1〜2日に行ない、これにより全班員のシンポジウム講演を終了した。さらにこの期間中に第7回総括班会議、班会議を開催し、成果とりまとめと出版について方針を決定した。協同利用設備として、名古屋大学農学部に設置されている分子構造解析用コンピューターが随時班員の利用にあてられて、協同利用の実を挙げた。これによれば複雑な構造の化合物の安定な形や、分子間相互の存在状態の計算、さらに核磁気共鳴装置を用いた2次元NOE測定値からの距離情報と連動させることにより計算値を実験値と対比させることができるので、極めて有効に活用された。また、1次元の分解能向上のためにデーター変換端末システムおよびソフトウエアーを追加設置することにより、分子計算とNMR解析が同時に可能となり一層能率化した。
