研究概要	糠タンパクや糖脂質は細胞間の認識に関わるマーカーとして動植物の細胞内で重要な役割を演じている。本研究では、植物防御機構上重要なファイトアレキシン合成のエリシター作用を有するHexa-β-Glucopyranosyl-D-glucitol(1)の活性発現の動的機構および特異な抗腫瘍活性から注目を集めているネオカルチノスタチンクロモフォア(NCS-chr)(2)のアミノ糖の役割を分子レベルで解明することを目的とした。まずオリゴ糖1の部分機構がある3糖7の立体配座解析に、新たにGB/SA溶媒和モデルを適用し、水溶媒効果を考慮に入れた分子力場計算を行った。実際に別途合成した3糖7の重水中のNMRを測定し、溶媒効果を考慮した分子力場計算が有効であることを明らかにした。また分岐糖合成の新手法として、5の分子内グリコシル化による3糖7の合成を検討した。その結果、分子力場計算による予測通り、糖鎖の4位に位置および立体選択的にグリコシル化が進行することが分った。 12員環エーテル4の渡環的[2.3]Witting転位を用いて、アミノ糖導入に必要なトランスジオール機構を有するNCS-chr3の合成に成功した。
