研究概要	(1)低温、強磁場下の2次元電子系のさまざまな量子伝導現象を測定し、それらの現象における、エッジ電流、測定端子、閉じこめポテンシャル、バリステック電子、アンダーソン局在のはたす役割について探究した。(邑瀬)(2)ヘテロ接合2次元電子系にフィボナッチ格子ポテンシャル変調を形成し、電気伝導度に準周期系特有の性質が現れることを確認した。また、銅の微粉子を並べた2次元的な膜の電荷KTB転移に起因することを明らかにした。(小林)(3)MOCVD選択成長によりGaAs量子細線およびGaAs量子ドットをそれぞれ形成することに成功した。(荒川)(4)有機伝導体α-(BEDT-TTF)_2I_3の金属ー絶縁体転移近傍では電気伝導度の異方性が不思議な振る舞いをする事を発見した。(梶田)(5)GaAs/AlGaAsヘテロ接合界面2次元電子系で、量子ホール効果のブレークダウン臨界電流が試料幅に比例することを観測した。(川路)(6)量子細線における磁気フォノン共鳴の理論とホットエレクトロン現象の解析を発表し、実験で磁気抵抗に極大を観測し、電子閉じ込めエネルギーを求めた。(浜口)(7)InAsヘテロ構造をMBE成長し、その物性を光学的および電気的測定により評価した。(井上)(8)PtSi薄膜および細線の超伝導とアンダーソン局在との競合を磁気抵抗の弱局在理論による解析を行って調べた。(石田)(9)ガス中蒸発法でGeおよびInSb微粒子を作製し、フォノンの非調和性が微粒子では増加すること、および電子・格子系の波数ベクトルの離散化に伴って電子格子相互作用が変化することを示した。(佐々木)(10)強磁場下の二次元電子系について、エッジ状態間、およびエッジ状態とバルク状態間の電子の非平衡分布に基因する非局所的伝導を観測した。(小宮山)
