研究概要

直交2周波局部発振光を有する時空間広帯域光ヘテロダイン偏光計を試作し、動的複屈折分布応答の時空間分布を画像表示するとともに、当該偏光計の有用性を実証した。
生体からの超微弱発光現象としてのバイオフォトンの2次元発光パターン情報の高感度計測・処理法の研究開発を行い、新しい画像を得るとともに、新知見を得ることに成功した。また、この現象の量子光学的特性の解明を試み、検討を行った。
瞬時の分光画像計測を目的とする並列多重フーリエ分光映像法を開発し、その有用性を確認した。本法では、レンズアレイを用いて物体の多重像を作り、それぞれの像に異なる光路差を与えるものであり、高速回転物体の瞬時の分光画像計測に成功した。
セルオートマトン、多変量のファジー論理回路、乗算のようなディジタル数値演算を光デバイスによって実現する方法を開発するとともに、画像処理をカスケート接続された光デバイスによって実現する方法を開発した。
干渉計の縞画像走査における時空間縞縮退現象を利用することにより、物理的に実在しない波動場でありながら、あたかも実在する波動によって生ずる干渉縞のごとき「仮想波面」を発生する原理を提案し、その実証実験により有用性を示した。
時定数の異なる2種類の有機色素を高分子に分散させた膜を作成し、互いに直交偏光状態にある位相共役波の発生に成功した。これを用いて、入力画像の中から動画像のみを抽出することを可能とした。
BSO結晶を用いた結合フーリエ変換相関器を開発し、高速画像相関演算を行った。結晶内の光強度不均一性を改善することにより、正しい相関関数の得られることを示した。
