研究概要

重点領域研究「蛋白質の膜透過と選別輸送の分子機構」の総括班として、研究計画の検討と研究成果の評価のため下記の活動を行った。
1.総括班会議を5月28日、10月9日、1月25日に開き、研究の進行状況および研究計画の検討を行った。この他、研究代表者と班長は随時連絡をとり、研究全般の円滑な進展をはかった。
2.1月25,26日の両日、山形で総括班と3つの研究計画班および公募採択研究の全研究者とその共同研究者合計約70名が出席し、各研究者による研究発法と出席者全員による討論がなされた。討論は極めて活発であった。
3.研究班の全体会議の他に、主として若手研究者(班員およびその共同研究者)による合宿形式の研究集会と8月19-21日に京都で開催した。約60名の参加があった。
4.全研究班員の連絡先と研究題目、研究経過と計画と記載した研究班員一覧をつくり、全研究班員に配布した。
5.本重点領域研究とほぼ同じ領域を取り扱う内藤記念科学振興財団の国際コンファレンス「細胞における蛋白質移行」の第2回が10月25日-28日に岐阜県川島町で開催され大多数の研究班員が参加し主導的役割を果した。海外から10名の第一線の一流研究者が参加し、本重点領域研究を推進させるのに大きく貢献した。
