研究概要

統計的推測に関連して生ずる種々の問題を数学的モデルとして明確にし解決に取り組む為に、次の研究課題(分担者)について全国的な研究集合をもち、成果を得た。
(1)「バイオ統計学の数学的基礎と応用」(平安名、大瀧、山本、柳川):マンテル-ヘンツエル推定量等の医学、生物学の分野で用いられる統計手法を中心に、新しい解析法とその数学的性質の解明について研究発表、情報の交換がなされた。
(2)「統計的推測と逐次解析」(磯貝、長尾、赤平):固定された大きさの標本では解決できない問題の解決手段として、逐次標本抽出法、二段階抽出法、三段階抽出法についての最近の推測理論が紹介され討論された。
(3)「統計的推測理論とその最適性」(谷口、稲田、近藤):ノンパラメトリックな場合を含めて統計量の収束及びその漸近展開、時系列モデルにおける推測等の種々の推測理論に関する新しい知見が発表され質疑討論がされた。
(4)「非正規分布に基づく統計的推測理論とその応用」(杉浦、藤越、西井):正規分布でないモデルの下での、推定量と検定統計量の分布の漸近展開・エッジワース展開及び正規性の検定等について活発な発表・討論がなされた。
(5)「多変量解析の理論と計算機」(田中、狩野):近年の急速な計算機の進歩と普及の刺激により生まれた、新しいタイプの統計的推測を中心に関連する研究の報告、情報の交換がなされた。
(6)「統計的実験の基礎理論とその応用」(鈴木、藤井):統計的実験における情報損失、局所漸近正規性等の基礎的研究から、統計的予測、事後分布の漸近的性質等のベイズ理論に関する話題にわたって興味ある報告がなされ、また討論が行われた。
