研究概要	励起分子のエネルギー緩和は一般にナノ秒からフェムト秒に亙る高速過程であるが、これらの追跡手段としてのレーザー分光に関する最近の発展には目覚しいものがあり、短寿命励起分子の構造のダイナミックスに関する研究が広範囲に行われている。しかしながら、特にピコ秒より遅い時間領域でのレーザー分光においては、もはやブレイクスルー的な発想の転換と定量性のある実験および新実験手法の開発が問われている。このような状況にも拘らず、わが国の凝縮相に於ける励起分子に関する研究は研究者独自の興味と手法によって行われてきた。その意味においても、今回の研究協力体制は研究形態の一つのプロトタイプとして今後の研究の進展に大いに貢献できるものと考えた。また,その成果は光物理、光化学、光生物学と云った純学問分野のみならず、新素材開発のような応用分野にも大きく波及していくものと期待した。研究内容に基づき、研究グループを次の二つの分科会に分けた。研究分担者はいずれかのグループに属し各分担現題に関する研究・調査を行った。1992年12月26〜27日には総合研究(A)「凝縮相のおけるフォムトおよびピコ秒ダイナミックスの展開と新実験手法の探索]と題して総合討論会を開催し、各自の課題研究に関する討論を敢えて批判的に行うことにより今後の研究の飛躍的な質的発展を祈願した。なお,各自の研究成果に関する報告書は近日中に刊行予定である。分科会1.凝縮相・フェムト秒ダイナミックスの展開と新実験手法の探索 (山崎,吉原,梶本,浜之上,中山,宮坂,増原,岡田,斎官,小山) 分科会2.凝縮相・ピコ秒ダイナミックスの展開と新実験手法の探索 (安積,国分,閑,小尾,疋田,田川,浜口,伊藤,広田,大野)
