研究概要	本研究は、確率論および関連する解析学の諸問題について、確率論・解析学その他数学の広い分野の研究者が分担して研究することであった。各分担者は各種シンポジウムへの出席等を通して研究を深めて行き、次に述べるような多くの研究成果をあげることができた。 (i)ランダム媒質の中の拡散過程の解析について:田中、田村は1次元の場合であるが新しい結果を得た。ブラウン媒質の中の拡散過程は、媒質がランダムでない場合のものに比べて非常におそく増大することが知られている(局在性の問題)。田中、田村はこのような拡散過程の局在性がかなり広いクラスの自己相似的に近いランダム媒質の場合にも成り立っていることを証明した。また、田中はこの研究を更に発展させるためのひとつのステップとして吸収壁レビー過程のグリーン関数について研究した。この研究を発展させること、また多次元の場合について研究することは次年度の計画のひとつである。(ii)自己相似過程については前島が数年来研究を続けているが、本年度はとくに、定常増分自己相似過程の中で線形かつ調和的切片的安定過程の特徴づけを与えた。(iii)ある種の非線型偏微分方程式の研究においては、菊地は解の集合に対するクネーゼル性質について結果を得た。谷は、バロトロピックな圧縮性ナビエストークス方程式の自由境界問題において、平衡状態の近くでの大域解の存在を示した。(iV)不規則系の解析数論的研究として、塩川はビリヤードモデルをもとにして定義される数列の複雑さについて新しい結果を得た。また、渋谷はランダムな順列にもとづく確率分割が種々の確率モデルで現われることを示した。(V)前田は或るリーマン多様体上のラプラシアンの変分問題について新しい結果を得た。以上に述べられていない研究成果も多い。これらについては発表論文題名をあげるため研究発表の欄の紙面を追加した。
