研究概要	1.組み合わせ幾何的研究成果(石井等) (1)3次元多様体の組み合わせ表示として、「疑似組み紐群」という組み紐群に似た表示をもつ群の要素として3次元多様体を表す方法が与えられた。これは、特異三角形分割のdual cmplexの特殊な族であるflow-spineによる3次元多様体の表示に対応している。 (2)上記の疑似組み紐群の表現から3次元多様体の位相不変量が構成されることが示された。turaev-Viroによる量子的不変量はその構造から疑似組み紐群の直積の表現に対応しているものと思われるが、これは今後の研究課題である。 2.微分幾何学的研究成果(前田、藤原等) (1)主バンドルの接続全体に作用するゲージ群のオービットに対する体積の概念とそれを曲面として見た場合の平均曲率の概念を一般化し、一般化されたHsiangの定理が前田等によって示された。また、この理論を用いて3次元多様体の位相不変量を構成する試みの研究が進行中である。 (2)ポアソン環の変形という立場からの量子群についての説明が、様々な例によって与えられた。 (3)辺の長さが任意のグラフ上にラプラシアンが定義され、そのスペクトルの下限とグラフの等周定数の関係が示された。 3.その他の研究成果 (1)立体内ビリヤードのcomplexityの決定(塩川等)(2)古典対称群上のPoisson核の特徴付け(河添) (3)barotropic圧縮性Navier-Stokes方程式の自由境界問題の平衡状態近くでの大域的可解性の証明(谷等) (4)Painleve方程式の解の挙動(下村) (5)その他(菊池、国松等)
